Astronomical Mirrors: High-reflection coatings optimized for professional and advanced amateur telescopes. We maximize light collection across the entire visible spectrum with particular attention to the wavelengths critical for astronomical observation.
UV-Aluminum: Specialized coating for parabolic reflectors with high reflectivity in the ultraviolet. Perfect for UV lighting systems, industrial drying, UV curing systems and scientific applications requiring high efficiency in the UV band.
ASTRI-HORN Telescope
The design of the ASTRI-HORN telescope prioritized strength, reliability and contained costs, incorporating advanced and proven technologies. Its structure is designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, such as earthquakes in Chile, while ensuring simplified maintenance.
The primary mirror of ASTRI-HORN, with a diameter of 4 meters, is made up of 18 pseudo-hexagonal segments. These lightweight segments, with a sandwich structure (an aluminum honeycomb core between two glass sheets), were produced using the cold replication technique.
ZAOT applied the dual-layer aluminum and quartz reflective coatings, essential for maximizing light-collection efficiency and long-term durability.
Mirror Re-Aluminizing
